 Getting Ready to Fiberglass

Fiberglass

& Coating the Bottom with Graphite
Fiberglass is something I know a lot about, for a Hack that is. I was not intimidated by this part of the project whatsoever. I have fiberglassed my share of stuff in the past. I decided to use kevlar strips on the chines and on the keel. Also, I used epoxy with graphite to coat the bottom.I was very pleased with the results. If I were to do it all over again, I would have skipped the kevlar on the keel and installed a sacrificial strip of wood or aluminum. Who knew? ~ By the way, all the pictures are clickable.
